No.197 Chiswick Fire Station: Velvet sofas, cacti & cocktails – brunch favourite in W4

Taking the top spot as my favourite West London brunch venue is No.197 Chiswick Fire Station, a bright and breezy open plan space on Chiswick High Road – another winning venture from the team behind Richmond’s No.1 Duke Street.
With an abundance of cacti, blush pink velvet sofas, a leafy terrace and statement furniture, it was love at first sight.Β And when the espresso martinis, Caravan Roastery coffees, giant granola bowl and cheese & avocado toastie landed, it was also love at first bite.
Open all day for drinks and dining – but I recommend a visit during daylight hours, to truly appreciate the beauty of the dΓ©cor.
How does it compare to other famous fire station, Chiltern Firehouse?Β I think I might prefer No.197 you know – for the relaxed vibes (our brunch lasted a leisurely 2.5 hours) and modern aestheticsβ¦Β Let me know if you agree!
