Sightglass is an independent, sibling-owned coffee company in San Francisco, with several locations throughout the city. Each has its own look, vibe and personality, but you can’t go wrong with any of them, quite frankly.
Since coffee is a seasonal fruit, Sightglass source directly from the origin in freshly harvested lots – they like to know the story behind their coffee and believe that the perfect roast is attainable if you combine intuition, smell, sound and sight – attention to detail is paramount, and their small production methods ensure they can perfect each cup.
The company name comes from the viewing window on the vintage PROBAT coffee roaster they use – and its branding is pretty brilliant too, seen emblazoned on their takeaway cups, and ringing the saucers and rims of their drink-in crockery.
Affogato fans will rejoice at seeing the full affogato menu! Pick your espresso, and pick your ice cream flavour – a caffeinated frozen dessert made just the way you like it!
A San Francisco staple – you can’t possibly visit the city without stopping in for some Sightglass caffeination!
