Core Collective: High intensity, high style workouts in High Street Ken

There’s a new high intensity, high style workout studio in High Street Ken: Core Collective. It’s a good ‘un, for several reasons:
1. The workouts.
It’s not often that I feel really pushed in a class, but Core Collective has thankfully got this down, guaranteeing a good solid sweat session, with engaged trainers who know their stuff. There are three class types to choose from:
– ACCELERATE: A spin class – in a high design studio with pumping beats. Core Collective’s is probably my favourite spin class in all of London…
– RESISTANCE: A HIIT and conditioning class using TRX suspension training. With a class capacity of just five, workouts are tailored and sweaty!
– VELOCITY: My favourite class, pulling elements from circuits, CrossFit and HIIT, expect warrior ropes, burpees, weighted sleds, tyres, huge resistance bands and kettlebells. This studio is a fitness lovers ultimate playground! While there may be no treadmills, mark my words: you will still be panting and sweating!
– POWER YOGA: A fast flowing 55-minute class with powerful poses – great for strength and flexibility, and a welcome antidote to all the other high intensity classes on offer.
2. The luxury.
Balancing a killer workout with total luxury is a smart move. The endorphin rush may be almost enough to get you hooked, and then the beaut interior and luxurious facilities will push you over the edge to become a regular! Think ghd hairdryers, straighteners, curlers and products; ginormous fluffy bath sheets; and a stunning luxe-industrial aesthetic.
3. The post-workout refuel.
Once you’ve sweated, showered and dressed, the café on the ground floor is the perfect place to refuel with “clean eating”, raw and organic snacks.
Proper coffee, cold-press juices, shakes, plus clean eating dishes like Açai Bowls and Organic Beetroot Protein Waffles!! Have a look at CPress’ offering here.
The café space is so fab it seems to attract the beautiful Kensington clique, who rock up in Lululemon outifts to socialise and flirt with the hunky trainers, though I’ve never seen them actually take a class or break into a sweat…!! Makes for good people watching though 😀
Introductory offer – 3 classes for £30, then classes from £20.
