Maman: French treats & exquisite décor in SoHo, New York

Maman is the product of a Michelin star chef, a restaurateur and an interior designer – and elements of each founder, plus their French heritage, are clearly evident in this adorable and delicious neighbourhood café in New York’s SoHo.
The interior of Maman is perfect – every little detail has been considered, from the art that hangs on the demolition chic walls (pictures of kids cooking and eating) to the beautiful crockery.
And then there’s the recurring rabbit theme – so cute!
Offering a selection of fresh and homemade cakes, cookies and buttery pastries for your sweet tooth, and savoury lunch items including farm fresh salads and soups, plus coffee from renowned Toby’s Estate, Maman is a need-to-know in New York.
I can personally vouch for the spicy-sweet chai lattes, chunky chocolate cookies (for which Maman is known) and grilled Croque Maman sandwich.
Maman are all set up for take-out (and the takeaway cups are little works of art, emblazoned with the blue and white patterns associated with the Maman brand)…
…but why would you do that when the dining area is so artfully exquisite, and the eat-in crockery so beautiful?!
