The Soholistic Nailbar opened back in October, and is the perfect solution for a bit of Soho pampering in a stunning setting – also a good one to bear in mind for gifts (Mother’s Day is right around the corner…)
Soholistic falls under the Firmdale Hotels umbrella, and many of the hotels have a Soholistic Spa within (including Charlotte Street Hotel, Soho Hotel and Ham Yard Hotel), offering nail, massage and facial treatments.
Ham Yard is the only one to also have a standalone nail salon though. The signature interior design that is seen throughout the hotels (in all its bright patterned glory!) is also showcased in the Soholistic Nailbar, to create a serene and stunning space in Ham Yard Village, just off Archer Street.
Using CND and Rik Rak by Kit Kemp products, the treatments are truly indulgent. My Luxury Manicure (£50) used divine-smelling almond products by CND – exfoliation, a radiance mask (complete with heated mittens!) and a hand and arm massage soon had my hands in the best condition of their lives – before my nails were painted with CND Vinylux Weekly Polish (a new polish that requires no base coat and lasts up to a week chip-free – my experience of it has been very positive!). An hour of relaxation, escape and total indulgence.
Soholistic Nailbar takes both bookings and walk-ins. For other treatments, book an appointment at the Soholistic Spa within Ham Yard Hotel, where you’ll find treatment rooms (including a double room for couples’ treatments), plus a relaxation area, steam room and showers, fully equipped gym and changing rooms. There is also a hypoxic gym, available for pre-bookings and private hire, if you fancy taking your training to a new level with some altitude and climate simulation!
