Named after an Italian pirate radio station from the 1970s, and founded by the two guys behind successful Italian chain Berbere and the girl behind Gail’s bakery, Radio Alice is Hoxton Square’s newest addition, and it’s bloody brilliant.
They do pizza, but not in the normal way, first cooking the base (so that it’s soft on the inside but crisp on the outside) and then adding the toppings after (so they don’t get scorched in the oven, and their full flavours can be appreciated). And it is so fantastically delicious, you’ll be raving about it like I am now. Just make sure you order the one topped with orange oil-infused burrata and prosciutto.
I adored the interior and the negronis too, but really… that pizza…!!
