There’s a new super healthy café in Fitzrovia, and it’s mighty cute. maple&FITZ is owned by Le Cordon Bleu trained Canadian health nut Adria, and she’s determined to get people glowing from the inside out with her great-tasting wholesome breakfast and lunch offerings.
Start the day with something from the porridge menu – with naked, maple or miso flavours, there’s something for everyone – washed down with a coffee or cold-pressed juice (made in-house, and containing a whopping kilo of fresh fruit and veg per bottle).
At lunch, grab a salad box (£6.95) – the m&F salad options leave Pret’s feeble attempts in the dust, with kale Caesar (with a healthy yogurt version of the classic dressing), Lady Pom and Samurai Slaw, plus optional protein add-ons (halloumi, chicken, salmon).
Since a healthy lifestyle is all about balance, giant brownie slabs (gluten-free, with a salted caramel swirl), One Bite Everything cookies (these are my fave!) and chocolate nut milk provide guilt-free sweet tooth satisfaction.
